The Handover

Two weeks after our sales visit we returned to Thorness Bay Holiday Park. On arrival, we were met by the holiday park’s general manager, who completed the handover by presenting us with the keys.

While the caravan is a second hand unit, we found that it had been fully cleaned and contained food starter packs that had been thrown in for free. We also found that free soft toys had been provided for the kids; a nice gesture from Thorness Bay.

The handover provides a good opportunity to ask any questions that we had thought of in the time since the sales visit, and which had not been covered in the owners’ pack.

We decided to do the handover on a Friday, allowing us to enjoy our very first weekend on the site.
